Cold weather & shorter days can make it harder to stay active, but winter doesn’t have to mean putting movement on pause ❄️

Here are a few simple ways to stay active and protect your body this winter:

1. Warm up properly
Cold muscles are stiffer and more prone to injury. Taking 5–10 minutes to gently warm up helps prepare your body for safe movement.

2. Keep movement simple
Staying active doesn’t have to mean intense workouts. Short walks, light strength exercises, or stretching sessions all count. Consistency matters more than intensity.

3. Stay active indoors
When outdoor movement feels less appealing, indoor exercise is a great option. Home workouts, yoga, Pilates, balance, and mobility exercises can help maintain strength and flexibility all season long.

4. Listen to your body
Winter often brings increased stiffness, tight muscles, and flare-ups of old injuries. Pain is not something to push through, it’s a signal that your body may need support.
