Itâs easy to want to jump on the trendy train, cold plunge, crĂŠatine, colostrum, dry brushing, red light, sauna, castor oil in the belly button, what other trends am I missing?
But none of those things are going to move the needle if your foundation isnât in place! Whatâs your foundation? Itâs sleep, itâs nutrition, itâs movement, itâs nature.
Whenever Iâm not feeling right, Iâm looking at these basics:
đ¸ eating within 30 minutes of waking
đ¸ eating balanced meals/snacks every 3-4 hours, I donât let my body guess when itâs going to be fed next
đ¸ in bed by 10 (and my phone doesnât follow me)
đ¸ waking up and getting sunlight/not scrolling
đ¸ movement in any form
đ¸ hydrating with minerals
đ¸ dialing back caffeine
And it works. I dare you to try it and Iâm willing to bet you wonât come back to me and say you still feel like đŠ
Is it easy and mindless? No, it takes some effort and discipline and consistency. But key word: consistency (not perfection). And itâs worthhhhh it
