Have you ever tried lemon, ginger, and cayenne pepper mixed with water?
This is one of my favorite drinks to have in 15-20 minutes of waking up.
It's perfect to drink on an empty stomach because When you drink it on an empty stomach, your body can absorb the nutrients quickly.
Benefits in the morning may include:
Kick-starting digestion for the day
Stimulating metabolism early
Hydrating your body after 6–8 hours of sleep
Helping the liver start its natural detox processes
Reducing morning bloating
Your digestive system is basically “waking up,” so the ginger and cayenne help activate digestive enzymes.
But you can sip it during the day as well.
Good times to drink it:
30 minutes before meals → may help digestion and appetite control
Mid-afternoon → natural energy boost without caffeine
After a heavy meal → helps with bloating and digestion
Is there a bad time to drink it??
Yes, before bed. Cayenne pepper stimulates disgestion and warmth, and if you have acid reflux or sensitive stomach, it will make things act up in the evening.
