One of my favourite guiding principals in my yoga practice is "sukha & sthira" meaning sweet & steady. ⠀

If you are practicing yoga using these principals it helps to ensure that you're practicing in a way that honours ahimsa (non-harming) towards yourself, towards your body and your unique needs. ⠀

This is a practice that I believe more than ever is important to practice off of your yoga mat right now too. ⠀
⠀
To live in this period of your life from a place of subtle softness, so that you can remain steady in this time of challenge. ⠀
⠀
We're in this for the long-haul (and that's OK!), so let yourself be gentle, be soft, and surrender. Give yourself lots of grace and forgiveness. ⠀

Today I'm practicing sukha & sthira in my life by choosing just one thing at a time. Choosing THIS moment and not worrying about what's to come.
