Role: Scheduler (Part-time)
Location: Largely Virtual, occasionally at office in Port Hope.
Work Schedule: Largely Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Job Overview:
Are you interested in helping to improve the quality of life for hundreds of families in our community?

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Part-Time Scheduler to join our home care agency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a team environment, and understands how to motivate and guide others with warmth and professionalism.

Beyond scheduling, this position requires strong communication and relationship-building skills—you’ll be encouraging staff, aligning availability with client needs, and ensuring smooth coordination. If you are happy working on a PC but also know how to nudge people constructively to keep things moving, you’ll be a great fit.

The position has room for growth into a larger role, depending on the successful candidate’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule home care visits for clients.
• Following protocols, ensure optimal matching of caregivers to clients based on needs and availability.
• Communicate effectively with the office team to confirm schedules and address any changes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality care delivery.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using a PC.
• Ability to learn scheduling software quickly (no previous experience required).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities. This is much more important than any previous scheduling experience.
• Client-focused mentality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.

This role offers the potential to expand into a larger position within the agency over time, based on performance and interest of the successful candidate.
