January Is mental Heath awareness Month!

How do you manage your stress and mental wellbeing?

Studies show Massage Therapy can decrease in some stress hormones (cortisol) and increases endorphins and seratonin which are our happy hormones!

Wishing everyone a 2026 filled with physical and mental wellness!

I’ll be the first to admit I’m limited in how much I’ve studied immunology! It’s good to know our immune system isn’t a “use it or loose it” system like our muscles!

The term "immunity debt" is circulating as an explanation of a surge in illness in Canada, but infectious diseases experts say it's “dangerous” and promotes COVID “misinformation.”

Meet my newest assistant: a Hydrocollator!

While I have yet to name it, this Chattanooga hydrocollator heats bentonite or other natural occurring clay in a sealed heating pack that reaches 160. It provides a form of deep moist heat that helps relieve pain, muscle spasms, improve range of motion and increase circulation and blood to the area.

When using heating packs they are always wrapped in layers of towels to avoid burns, but are a great tool in any manual practitioners handbook! Have you ever had a heating pack used ? Thoughts?
