We’re often told we’re “burnt out” because we’re not sleeping enough.
But sleep is only one kind of rest.
If you’ve ever:
• slept 8 hours and still felt exhausted
• taken time off but returned feeling the same
• tried to “rest” and felt restless or guilty.
…it might be because the type of rest you need isn’t the one you’re giving yourself.
There are many kinds of rest—emotional, mental, sensory, social, creative, physical, and spiritual—and each one restores a different part of you.
Burnout doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It often means you’ve been strong in one area for too long without support in another.
As you swipe through these slides, notice:
✨ which type of rest feels unfamiliar
✨ which one you’ve been avoiding
✨ which one your body has been quietly asking for
Rest isn’t a reward.
It’s a requirement for being human.
Save this for later, or share it with someone who needs permission to rest differently
