Hello and thank you for visiting my new page: Marshall Arts Handmade! My name is Sue and I just love to make things; I can’t help it! I love knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafting and making gifts for these little guys. Many years ago, as a tradition I started making baby gifts for all our nieces and nephews when they welcomed their new little ones into the family. All of my items are handmade in my smoke-free sewing/crafting studio. I am located on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, at the north end of Highway 101 in Powell River on the Sunshine Coast. To get anywhere from here I need to take a ferry either to Vancouver Island or to the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. Although being quite secluded, it is a little piece of heaven – the ocean on one side and the mountains and forest on the other. Cosmetic pouches are back!! I have a new selection of zipper pouches now available. All of these bags have a waterproof lining, which makes for an easy clean up.
I will have these available starting today at the Powell River Farmers' Market, please drop in to check them out. The market is open Sundays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Who’s ready for some Valentine's Day fun? 😍 I have some sweet bowl cover sets made with Love (fabric love, that is). Looking for an alternative to chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s, here’s another option.

I will be at the Powell River Farmers' Market this Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and will have a small selection of these special occasion bowl covers available, along with my regular stock of sustainable products for your home.

If you can’t make it to the Farmers’ Market you can also find a selection of my bowl cover sets (including the Valentine’s patterns) at Elemental Essential Kitchen and Home Store, located at 4493 Marine Avenue (above Duke’s).

Only one more Sunday at the Powell River Farmers' Market before Christmas. I have some bowl cover sets all ready to go for gift giving. You'll also find playing card holders and crayon roll-ups if you are looking for stocking stuffers.

Magic of Christmas Craft Fair is happening this Saturday, December 13th. I will be at the Powell River Complex, upper level, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with loads of other talented local vendors. 🎅🤶

Craft Fair Season is Here 🎉
I will be at the Dwight Hall tonight and tomorrow for Powell River's Own Craft Fair. Here's a sample of the items I will have available. They make great gifts, or a treat for yourself!
You'll find bowl covers, bowl cozies, cork trivet covers, sandwich wraps, cheese wraps, crayon roll-ups and playing card holders.
The hall will be packed with talented folks from the area. Hope you'll drop by and say Hi 😉

Craft Fair Season is upon us! 🎉

Drop in and visit all the talented vendors at the upcoming Powell River's Own Craft Fair. It is being held at the Dwight Hall (6274 Walnut Street).

** New Product – Reusable Cheese Wraps!

These cheese wraps will keep your cheese fresh as it wraps around an opened brick of cheese. It also reduces the use of plastic wrap or single use zip bags.

These reusable cheese wraps are lined with a waterproof food safe fabric, which is easy to care for - either wipe clean with a soapy cloth or they are machine washable.

They are available in a variety of fabric patterns, which will spice up your kitchen. Drop by the Springtime Garden Centre Autumn Market this Thanksgiving weekend (Saturday and Sunday 11 to 3) and have a look.
