“Positive. Effective. Invested.”
Those were the three words Jace’s father used to describe our work together — and that means everything to me.
When I train young athletes, it’s not just about putting in hours at the gym — it’s about outcomes, confidence, and long-term growth. With Jace, the goal wasn’t weight loss or aesthetics. His family wanted to improve his speed, agility, and skating drills, so every session was designed around performance.
I check in after every set —
“Too much? More? Need a break?”
That honest communication is how we push without burning out, and how we make real progress.
Hearing Jace say he used to gas out after 400m but now finishes a 1.6 km run in third place — that’s the win.
