Maintaining a healthy mouth is the first step in maintaining a healthy body.

If you have any medical conditions that affect your GI, pulmonary or cardio system you need to reduce the amount of disease causing bacteria in your mouth.

Anywhere from 3, 4, 6 or 12 months is recommended to have your regular dental hygiene therapy done based on several different factors.

Unsure? Come on in, and we will assess and discuss the best interval suited for you to maintain good overall health.

Have you ever noticed black staining on your child’s teeth?

Chromogenic bacteria 🦠 is a form of bacterial plaque most commonly found living in the child’s oral environment. This type of bacteria will often cause black staining along the gum line caused by pigments from bacteria reacting with iron in saliva or diet.

This is nothing to be too concerned about as children that are prone to this will often outgrow these stains as their permanent teeth come in.

A professional cleaning is the most effective way to remove these stains while also encouraging good oral habits at home.
