If you are already tired in the morning.
If you wake-up throughout the night.
If your energy crashes in the afternoon.
If you are constantly bloated and are gaining weight in your stomach.
If you are constantly craving sugar
If you can't concentrate and have memory fog.

This isn't just being tired. This is not something you can fix by having a good night of sleep.

This is hormonal fatigue, this is chronic stress affecting your body. This is something a new diet won't fix.

Hormonal balance needs to come first if you want to regain your energy and feel good within your body.

What is something you do everyday to balance your hormones?✨️

My connection with my baby wasn't instant and I felt ashamed of it. So many mothers swear by the unconditional live of their baby right away; I thought something was wrong with me.

The connection takes time. It grows overtime and expecting it to be instant feels unrealistic to me.

If you want to read about more pregnancy and motherhood taboos, get the book: Uncensored First-time Mom Confessions :

If you've been feeling stuck and feel like your body has been fighting you: it's not.

It's giving you signals, it's telling you exactly where your focus needs to be and what it needs.

You simply needs to learn how to listen to it and care for it properly. If you are doing ALL of the right thing but still nothing seems to be working than you might be fighting your body instead of working with it.

What no one told me about postpartum recovery and that you deserve to know.

For a long while afterwards, you might not feel like yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. It's more common than you think and you aren't aline in this. Motherhood brings a big identity shift.

Being tired all the time isn't a "normal" par of it, and not always something you just have to push through. Lack of sleep, hormonal imbalances and poor recovery can make you feel completely drained and exhausted. But there's always something you can do about it.

Ps: I've got a free postpartum course on my website te help you recover and get your energy back. Comment "postpartum" and I'll send you the link.

The mental load that you will be carrying will feel heavy and you need to make sure not to forget yourself into this.

Bouncing back isn't the goal. Healing is. Your body needs energy to recover, not restriction.

Doing everything alone, ignoring your needs and rushing to get back to your pre-baby body weight will slow down your recovery.

Getting support, nourishing your body properly, movement and resting will help you get back to yourself faster. ✨️

I started writing not knowing what I would find.
At first it was to help me processed my feelings. Then it became my way of expressing myself. My way of becoming vulnerable with the people around me.

Then it became my way of being authentic and now it's my way of choosing growth.

Writing is now a way in which I can learn about myself, work on my limiting beliefs and grow into the person I want to become.

I'm still not quite sure where this writing journey will lead me but I'm choosing to trust myself and keep moving forward. ✨️
