Hurray!!!!
The BRANCH Medical Clinic now has a full complement of family physicians.
We are ecstatic to announce that we now have 4 new family physicians and they are all accepting new patients. This makes a total of 6 family physicians at The BRANCH.
I want to thank members of our community who have been patient with us in the last 5 years as we navigated through the complex process of recruiting physicians to our clinic.
We are here to serve and with improved access to family physicians at our clinic, we hope to meet the needs of our patients with quality care.
Please note that some of our physicians do have hospital privileges and responsibilities. Nevertheless, at any point in time, there will be other physicians to take on your care needs for the brief period that your family physician may be working at the Regional Hospital.
I can not thank you enough for your support and understanding over the years as we went through this process. You kept us going with your words of encouragement and I say again, thank you.

With cautious excitement, i am looking forward to being able to see the faces of my patients during consultations

Being able to return their smiles as well as properly show empathy when situations demand.

It has been a trying period for Albertans, who continue to make tremendous sacrifices to beat this covid pandemic.

We came this far because of your goodwill and collective effort

But as we enter the mask free Era, let's remember that we are in this together and must continue to do our part to keep our communities safe.

It is November.
The 11th out of the 12 months of the year.
For most people, it is time to stop and take stock.
Some are happy others not so happy but most people are indifferent.
"It has been a covid year", they say.
Goals and expectations have been shattered by the unpredictable and fragile socioeconomic quagmire created by the pandemic.
Families have lost loved ones without the opportunity to say good bye.
Family members were unable to freely get together to mourn their losses
Restrictions in air travel, community events, delayed elective surgeries, dwindling income....... and the list of the difficulties grows longer.
Despite all these Habakkuk 3:17-19 encourages us to rejoice.
Joy is therapeutic.
It attracts your heart desires and helps you deal with the negativity around you.
It is a testimony that we are still alive because we are no better than those who died of one thing or the other..
Let's look at the glass half full, not half empty.
Hang on in there if you are still expectant of something good this year (and everyone should be).
I am sure you will still receive it before this beautiful year winds down.

The pandemic has been a challenging time for us all.
For our patients who are still unvaccinated due to various personal reasons, please understand that we hear you.
Your reasons for not accepting the covid vaccination are all valid.
Those worried about the long term side effects of this vaccine, you have a valid concern.

But we are all in this together and we must do all that needs to be done to return to normalcy and stem the tide of covid-19

Please Consider and re-evaluate your stand and as a member of this community meditate on what role you could play to defeat this raging pandemic.

We shall overcome

Together we are stronger

July 1st and we will be back to normal as the province opens up fully.
A note of caution though, we have come this far by our collective responsibility and perseverance and we are not ready to fritter away the gains made so far.
We have heard about the new of covid19 variants.
So while we celebrate, let's not throw caution to the winds.
Together we shall overcome covid19.
Let's keep following all public health guidelines.

Individually we must continue to play our parts by continously following the public health guidelines, getting vaccinated and showing kindness in any way possible to our neighbours who might be going through some hard time orchestrated by the pandemic.
And soon we shall all overcome
Our salvation is nearer now than when we first began

You are definitely stronger than you think
The pandemic has brought to fore the resilience of the human race
Individuals and Families have made unprecedented sacrifices to stay healthy and alive this past year.
But we are still here thanks to God's mercy and your determination to do the right thing.
I want to encourage everyone to hang on to hope that all will be well again.
Together we shall overcome the remaining challenges posed by covid and get together to celebrate.
Happy 2021.
There shall be an undeniable turnaround this year.

As we prepare to celebrate our 1 year anniversary on 15th November, our deep appreciation goes to the Almighty and members of this great community who extended a hand of welcome to us.
We are forever grateful.
