Did you know...
While the Atlas (the first cervical vertebrae) in the horses neck is responsible for the up/down movement in the horses head, the Axis (2nd cervical vertebrae) is responsible for the tilt side to side of the horses head. The Axis is difficult to feel due to the shape of the bone, except maybe the small transverse process if you know where to look! A horse who has the Axis rotated will have a hard time giving to pressure in the opposite direction the Axis has rotated, making things a normal horse should be able to do, such as picking up a particular lead in the canter, difficult.

Use of stall can be provided at additional cost if you require it daily. Also have paddocks if needed. Auto waterers and horses are checked on and fed regularly every day. I am also an Equine body worker and will offer a significant discount for boarders.

Over the last week I had the pleasure of going out to the track on 2 and working on some of the standardbreds (and a quarter horse) out there. What lovely breeds. These athletes are so well taken care of and some of the nicest horses I have met. As always, it amazes me to see the before and after difference.
