Starting today, every Albertan can get four non-medical masks at A&W, McDonald’s and Tim Hortons drive-thru locations. We are also working with municipalities, First Nations communities, Metis Settlements and local agencies for alternative distribution where there might not be easy access to drive-thrus.

Mask use is not mandatory and is an option for situations where physical distancing is not possible. The mask distribution program is intended to help supplement individuals’ efforts to acquire non-medical masks.

Albertans are eligible for one package of four masks, available only at drive-thrus and only while supplies last. No purchase is necessary.
