On Wednesday, January 14th, ACCESS Elsipogtog invites the youth for a DIY night in room 188 at the old school.

Come and bring a friend 🧡

This DIY, we'll be making some Ooblek (slime)

ACCESS Elsipogtog is seeking gifted, talented, and patient people who have hearts for our youth and are willing, able, and available to teach and/or guide them into their futures with positive mental health. ACCESS Elsipogtog wants to collaborate and utilize these individuals to teach our youth one or many of the skills and tools, such as, time management, basic budgeting, cooking, taxes, coping skills/techniques and strategies, dealing with grief, coping with depression, crafts, journalling, basic sewing for minor repairs, minor house repairs, practicing mindfulness, developing routines, schedules and SMART goals, resume writing, and/or anything else that you can bring to the table which would benefit the youth to promote their self-confidence and positive mental health in exchange for an honorarium.

Our Christmas party held last night for the youth was a great success. They baked and decorated sugar cookies and cupcakes, played musical chairs, limbo, and bingo, which won them prizes.

Our top three door prize winners were as follows:

1st prize - $50 Prepaid Card - Everleigh Labobe
2nd prize - Bluetooth speaker - Stella Ruben
3rd prize - $25 Prepaid Card - Olivia Sanipass

But nobody left without a prize, for they are all prizes in our eyes.
