Hello lovelies, I am The Gypsy Mermaid, and I have spent years traveling across North America in my beloved Gypsy caravan, sharing smiles and giggles through the Arts & Entertainment Tour. Now, I am excited to introduce the Shanty Arts Society, where we plan to transform a mid-size bus into a mobile Art Studio, Workshop, and Marketplace. This Artbus will be adorned with cedar shakes and shingles, each painted and featuring shiny metal nameplates, making every shingle a permanent part of this rolling masterpiece.

For just $100, you can sponsor a shingle, commemorating a loved one, promoting your business, or simply supporting the arts. The funds raised will go towards purchasing the bus and art supplies for donated workshops, especially for schools that have cut art funding. Art is a powerful tool for healing and inspiration, offering a colorful escape from the chaos of daily life.

My Inner child refuses to give up the play time.... Bold Vivid Colors... Experimenting with new techniques... polishing time tested skills...not being afraid of trying something new..

I have always had art in my life, even in days of survival... that is what I believe keeps my soul smiling.

Modern Expressionism, Portraiture, Abstract, Still life, Self Portrait, and Fluid Art... have all been a part of my canvases, my candle lanterns, birdhouses, walls, artcars... and whatever else yearned for a fresh new life and look within my realm.

Mainly utilizing acrylics, on occasion an oil based paint... and a clear coat at times.
