We had to share these beautiful engagement photos of Dr. Kennedy & her fiancé, Matt 💕 Their wedding is coming up this September in the Okanagan at 50th Parallel Estate Winery and we could not be more excited for them!

It actually started pouring rain during their shoot, but the rainbow in their family photo made it completely worth it 🌈 And of course, pups Gertrude and Mildred will be making their debut as the cutest little flower girls 🐾

Happy birthday, Chaelsey! 🎉👓

Born in Saskatoon, raised in Quill Lake, and proudly country at heart. Chaelsey has been in the optical world since 2010, and you’ll usually find her in the lab taking on tricky frame adjustments and loving the challenge.

If she could trade jobs with anyone for a day, it would be someone who owns an antique store. She loves antiques and imagining the stories and history behind them. If she could instantly master one skill, it would be playing the guitar. Until then, she’s sticking with her other favourites like gardening, country music with a little Usher for a pick me up, and long walks around her acreage with her family.

We’re so lucky to have her on the Kennedy Eye Clinic team. Be sure to wish her a happy birthday and say hi next time you’re in. 🥳✨

Our Story

Dr. Courtney Kennedy decided to come back to Saskatoon to open Kennedy Eye Clinic in April 2015. Kennedy Eye Clinic is located inside of Factory Optical with two locations: one in Stonebridge and one in Lawson Heights Mall. The business model here is not traditional because there are two independent businesses operating within the same space meaning the Optometrists will not put any pressure on the patients to purchase any glasses or contact lenses.
