Joy doesn’t need to be big — it just needs to be noticed.
✨ Practice:
Set a timer for one minute.
Find one thing that brings you even a tiny spark of joy.
✨ Why it works:
Recognizing micro-joy trains the brain toward positivity through neuroplasticity.
What little moment sparked joy today?

✍️ Day 4
One-Line Journaling
You don’t need a full journal practice for this to work.
✨ Practice:
Write down ONE sentence answering:
“How am I feeling right now?”
✨ Why it works:
Naming emotions reduces their intensity — a psychological effect called “affect labeling.”
What did your one line reveal?

Wisdom Yoga 🫶🏼
Weaves the Indigenous wisdom of the Seven Grandfather Teachings with the energy of the 7 chakras. We will explore one teaching, reflect on its connection to inner balance, and embody it through supportive yoga poses.
The class includes 10–15 minutes of shared teachings followed by a 45-minute gentle yoga flow.
All are invited to share, learn, and experience the beautiful connection between self-care and ancient wisdom.
Starting January 2026 ✨

Day 3
5-4-3-2-1 Awareness Scan
A quick anchor for a busy mind.
✨ Practice:
Name:
5 things you see
4 things you feel
3 things you hear
2 things you smell
1 thing you appreciate
✨ Why it works:
This technique grounds you in the present moment and reduces spiraling thoughts.
What was the easiest sense to connect with?

🕯️Day 2
Set a Daily Mini Intention
Where your attention lands, your energy follows. Small intentions anchor your energy when life feels chaotic.
✨ Practice:
Choose one word for the day: soften, present, steady, grounded, breathe, open…
✨ Why it works:
Intentions strengthen your prefrontal cortex — the part of the brain responsible for focus and emotional regulation.
What’s your word today?

✨Day 1
The Power of a Single Breath
The holidays can feel fast and full…so we begin with simplicity.
✨ Mindfulness Practice:
Take one slow inhale through the nose.
One long exhale through the mouth.
✨ Why it works:
A single slow exhale activates your vagus nerve, lowering your heart rate and calming your stress response.
What does one mindful breath shift for you today?
11/30/2025
The holidays can be beautiful… and they can also be overwhelming.
Our nervous systems move through more activity, more noise, more expectations, and often, less rest.
So this year, we want to offer something different. Something grounding, calming, and nourishing for your whole self.
Welcome to The Healing Loft’s 12 Days of Mindfulness ✨
A gentle, daily invitation to slow down, breathe deeper, and come home to yourself.
Each day, we’ll share one simple mindfulness practice backed by science. Tiny shifts that regulate your nervous system, soften stress, and bring you back into balance.
Think: grounding, breathwork, somatic awareness, intention-setting, sensory soothing, and small rituals that help your body feel safe and supported.
This series is designed to fit into real life.
No pressure. No perfection. No hour-long routines.
Just one mindful moment, every day.
Because you deserve calm.
You deserve rest.
And you deserve a holiday season that nourishes instead of drains you.
✨ Join us for Day 1 tomorrow.
Let’s move through this season with softness, intention, and presence — together. 🫶🏼

Why blocks are your best friend 🖤
Because yoga isn’t about “doing it perfectly.” It’s about giving your body the support it needs to move, open, and breathe with ease.
Blocks help you:
✨ Find better alignment
✨ Protect your joints
✨ Create space where things feel tight
✨ Build strength with stability
✨ Make every pose more accessible and more effective
There’s no ego in using props. In fact, the most seasoned practitioners use them the most.
At The Healing Loft, we use blocks to meet your body exactly where it is, so you can practice with confidence, safety, and softness.
Your practice. Your pace. Your support. 🖤
What’s your favourite way to use blocks in class?

✨✨✨
✨ Rest in the Quiet Light ✨
Tonight’s Yoga Nidra The Healing Loft was a gentle landing, a place where breath softened, bodies unwound, and the quiet light within each of us had space to glow again.
🤍 Thank you to everyone who showed up with open hearts and allowed yourselves to be held by stillness.
✨ In those moments between inhale and exhale, we remember that rest isn’t a luxury… it’s a return home.
💫 May you carry a thread of tonight’s calm into whatever comes next.
💫 May you feel supported, spacious, and softly illuminated from within.
♾️ Stay tuned for the next date.

I’ve seen a post like this circulating on social media lately, and it really landed for me, because it’s true every single class in this space.
When people walk through our doors, they’re not just rolling out a yoga mat…
They’re carrying real life.
Real stories. Real weight.
Financial stress.
Chronic pain.
Grief.
Infertility.
Anxiety.
Relationship strain.
Parenting exhaustion.
New diagnoses.
Loneliness.
Trying something new while feeling nervous.
And so much more we may never see.
Here at The Healing Loft, people show up with full hearts, heavy hearts, and everything in between.
And the moment the lights dim, the candles glow, and everyone settles in, you can feel it… A room full of humans doing their best. 🤍
A reminder for all of us:
✨ We never know what someone is carrying.
✨ Kindness is always the right choice.
11/20/2025
A reminder we all need: you’ll get where you’re going, but this moment… this breath… this version of you is already enough. 🤍
