Great eye care is a team effort, and today we’re happy to spotlight Kayla Robinson, our wonderful Optometric Assistant at Vision Optical and Boutique.

Originally from Echo Bay, just east of Sault Ste. Marie, Kayla brings both strong local roots and valuable experience to our practice. After graduating from CASS, she completed her degree at Nipissing University in 2017 and went on to earn a Medical Administration certification from Okanagan College.

Kayla previously worked in a busy optometric practice in Kelowna, BC, where she gained hands‑on experience supporting patient care in a fast‑paced environment. Recently, she and her husband returned to the area, settling on beautiful St. Joseph Island to raise their family close to loved ones.

Kayla’s professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly nature help ensure every visit runs smoothly and comfortably for our patients. We’re so glad to have her as part of our team! 👓✨
