Today I did something that’s been sitting in the back of my mind for a while... I went for my first mammogram.

I’ll be honest… I was a little nervous. I put it off longer than I needed to. Not because I didn’t care, but because sometimes the unknown feels heavier than the appointment itself.

And here’s what I want you to know if you’re on the fence, worried, or telling yourself “I’ll book it later”:
It was quick.
It was manageable.
It was empowering.
Most of all, it felt like an act of self-respect.
We show up here every day talking about strength, health, and taking care of ourselves ...not just for how we look, but for how we live. This is part of that too.

If you’ve been avoiding it because you’re scared, busy, uncomfortable, or just unsure you’re not alone. But you are worth the peace of mind. You are worth the check-in.

You are worth the care.
This is me gently reminding you (with love, not pressure):

One of the most common questions we’re getting is: “How often would I actually use this?”
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer — and that’s intentional.

So what does a session actually feel like?
You lie down or sit comfortably.
You’re fully clothed.
The room is quiet.
There’s no heat, no pressure, no effort.
Most women describe it as: • calming
• grounding
• relaxing without making them sleepy
• like their body can finally exhale
Some notice they feel less sore later that day.
Some notice better sleep.
Some just notice they feel… better.
There’s nothing to push through.
You just let your body do the work.

We are bringing it in because women are tired.

Tired of feeling inflamed.

Tired of being told to just push harder.
This isn’t another workout.

The Refinery-The Sault’s Hottest New Health & Weight Loss Facility

We are launching a brand new health facility for all of our Sault Ste. Marie Community.

We are combining the best of every world!

This is an all-inclusive gym atmosphere with private coaching, group training, specialized classes and of course, we want you all to hang out, enjoy a coffee with us and maybe some light food options in the future! This will be a home for women only- with a few limited specialty classes to include the men.

When this idea came to light. We envisioned a home for everyone. A safe place but a place where little by little you’re pushed outside your comfort zone.
