I’m excited to share that I will be adding a blog to my website. My first post is titled “A Listening Place: Who I Am as a Therapist” and is all about the approach I take in my work, how connection, understanding, and creating a safe space guide the way I support clients. This blog is a place for reflection, insight, and practical ideas, and I hope it gives you a sense of who I am, what I value, and how I approach the work of healing and growth.

Change doesn’t start with willpower.
It starts with awareness.

If you’ve been noticing your patterns in relationships,
in conflict, in the way you speak to yourself that’s not overthinking.

That’s readiness.

Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are.
It’s about understanding how you learned to cope, and deciding what still serves you.

Virtual sessions offer space to slow down, reflect, and build self-compassion.. from wherever you are.

Curiosity creates change.
And you don’t have to navigate it alone.

This one is for all the parents trying to do their best and feeling curious about...

– Why certain things trigger you
– Why you overextend or people-please
– Why you shut down when conflict shows up
– Why you feel so hard on yourself afterward

Healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about meeting the parts of you that adapted early and teaching them something safer now.

This is work rooted in curiosity.
And strengthened by self-compassion.

Ever notice you can’t start the thing…but the second someone sits near you, you can?

That’s not laziness.
That’s regulation.

🧠 Body Doubling = doing a task while another person is present (in person or virtually).

They don’t help.
They don’t supervise.
They just exist in the space.

For many ADHD brains, shared presence can:
• Make starting feel safer
• Reduce overwhelm
• Create enough stimulation to stay engaged
• Shift isolation into connection

Some nervous systems regulate best in shared space.

Needing that isn’t weakness. It's a brain wired for connection.

If you’ve ever wondered…
• why you handle everything on your own
• why asking for help feels uncomfortable
• why certain patterns keep showing up in your relationships

You’re not broken, you’ve been adapting.

For many people, starting therapy for the first time can feel intimidating. You might not know what to say, what to expect, or whether your struggles are “enough.” That’s okay. There’s no right way to begin.

Therapy can simply be a place to talk things through, at your own pace, with someone whose role is to listen, not judge or push.

✨ If you’re curious, a first session or consultation is just a conversation nothing you need to prepare for.

When you’re ready, support is here

Therapy with children doesn’t always look the way you might expect. Often, there’s a lot happening beneath the surface. Through play, we gently build felt safety, practice co-regulation, and create space for trust and connection to grow.

Play isn’t a break from therapy it’s often where the most meaningful work begins.

✨ If this resonates, it may be an invitation to get curious about what support could look like for your family.
