So we took a peaceful paddle on the coast, hoping for a quiet moment with nature. Instead, we were greeted by some very curious seals who drifted right over once we stopped paddling for 30 mins. They were adorable, playful, and… let’s just say we also witnessed a little seal romance happening right beside us. Nothing like unexpected marine biology to remind us we need to get out more.

These moments always bring me back to how much we also need care, connection, and space to breathe. Nature has a way of showing up exactly as it is, and inviting us to do the same.

On another note, I want to introduce . I lovingly call her the Somatic Queen of the Coast for the way she bridges mind and body with such skill and compassion. If you are seeking counselling that gently guides you back into your body’s wisdom, she is a beautiful person to connect with.

She is in my office Thursday afternoons and Fridays. 💚

A little reminder from Parky for this season because sometimes it’s really NOT the most wonderful time of the year 👀🎄

A boundary is not a brick wall.
It’s more of a simple fence that says, “This is my space,”
and gently says, “Please don’t climb it just because we share DNA.”
And if you do, I may have to build a higher one 🫡.

Honoured to team up with the for WIRTHMAS this year. I joined a little late, so there are only 5 days left to bid on this experience!

WIRTHMAS is the Wirth Foundation’s annual “Anything But Silent” auction. Everything being auctioned has been donated to help make therapy more accessible. Every bid directly supports someone who might not be able to reach mental health care on their own.

I’ve donated a 2-hour kayak therapy session on the ocean. It is a calm and steady way to be on the water, and there is almost always a seal that pops up to say hello. The session is valued at $285 (rental & gear included) and the starting bid is $25. If it feels right, please help bring that bid up. Every bit truly helps.

Grateful to be able to contribute to something that connects people who need mental health support to nature and land, and helps open doors to care for those who need it.
