Mentorship and counselling sessions are two vital aspects of recovery as the women progress through our 12-month program. These one-on-one sessions offer encouragement, guidance, and support, helping participants navigate challenges, resolve root problems and celebrate their achievements. We are proud to witness the growth and resilience of women attending our program!

At Easter, we celebrate hope, redemption, and new life. Kendra came into our care over three years ago, struggling with addictions that threatened her life.

Today, through faith, perseverance, and the support of this caring community, she’s experienced profound healing and now lives a transformed life.

Together, we are helping more women like Kendra take their own steps toward recovery today. Support our work this Easter at naomiandruth.ca/donate-today.

Every week, our dedicated staff meet with each woman in our program, offering mentorship in crucial areas like workplace readiness, healthy relationships, budgeting, and long-term self-sufficiency. Together, we create relapse prevention plans that help identify triggers, build practical coping strategies, and strengthen supportive networks, empowering women well beyond their time with us.
Your support for Naomi and Ruth is more than a donation—it's an investment in the future success of every woman in our care. Thank you for believing in their potential and helping us make a lasting difference!

Correction to clarify this post. Shelley (L) is attending the Naomi and Ruth women's recovery program in Shediac, NB. Her sister Brenthy (R) is supporting Shelley as she attends our 12 month recovery program.
Here’s the story. Two sisters, once (somewhat) distant, now rebuilding their relationship and finding joy together as Shelley works through her recovery. We stand amazed at God’s work in women’s hearts—though the road isn’t always easy, it’s so rewarding to watch families come together and embrace a new, purposeful destiny. Join us in celebrating these great moments of healing and new beginnings!

We like to keep it fun for all the women at Naomi and Ruth. Here, one of our staff and her daughter let the ladies bid (at no cost to any resident) on some of the recently donated clothing that came through our doors. A fun time for all!

We’re excited to share a heartwarming moment from this week! Louise and Louis generously donated four brand new sewing machines to our women’s program, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Even more, here’s a photo of Louise giving lessons on how to use the new machines, volunteering her time and skills! Our ladies are truly appreciative for this opportunity. This is a beautiful reminder that it really does take a village. Thank you, Louise and Louis, for supporting women in recovery!

We are thrilled to announce a new community partnership with Beal University's (Sackville, NB) nursing program! Just a few days ago, we welcomed two new nursing students—Grace and Breanna (3rd year, pictured left to right)—alongside our executive director, Dorothy Gaudet, as the first step in this collaboration. Over the coming weeks, they will be providing 96 hours of health education, hygiene support, and mentoring at our women's centre. Please join us in welcoming Grace and Breanna to our community!

Tuesday Taco's! Or any day for that matter—every day is a good day for creative meals at our home. We're always resourceful, making the most of the generous food donations we receive. Our focus is on providing healthy, nutritious meals and teaching the women important skills like meal prep and food management—good life skills to have here in Canada!
What do we need to keep the kitchen humming? Chicken, fish, and beef are always in demand. If you'd like to help, please give us a call or send us a message. Thanks for supporting our community!

At Webster House, we know how important it is for mothers in recovery to reconnect with their children. That's why we create special moments for families to spend time together on our property. Recently, a friend took a mother's child for a walk through our beautiful grounds—just one example of how our welcoming space encourages healing and transformation. Here, mothers can start a new chapter and rebuild lasting bonds.

Kaitlyn, one of our very studious ladies, is taking a well-deserved break in our cozy front lounge. It’s been a busy week for the women at the Naomi & Ruth Women's Centre—filled with appointments, counseling, group sessions, chores, and more. The house has been buzzing with productivity and great energy. Tomorrow, everyone will get some downtime to relax and recharge for the week ahead. We’re proud of all the hard work and dedication these women show every day! Please like and share congratulating our women on their road to recovery.
