🔥 CRISPY HOISIN CHICKEN (Better Than Takeout!) 🔥

🛒 Ingredients:
• 2 lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup cornstarch
• ¼ cup vegetable oil (plus more as needed)
• ¾ cup hoisin sauce
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
• 2 tsp sesame oil
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp crushed red pepper (adjust to taste)
• Sliced green onions (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Coat the Chicken
Whisk the egg in a bowl. Dip chicken pieces into the egg, then coat generously in cornstarch.
2️⃣ Fry
Heat oil in a large skillet/wok over medium-high. Fry chicken in batches 3–4 minutes per side until golden & crispy. Set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
Whisk hoisin, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, ginger & crushed red pepper.
4️⃣ Simmer
Pour sauce into the skillet (leave 1 tbsp oil inside). Simmer 1–2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5️⃣ Combine
Add chicken back in and toss until everything is glossy and beautifully coated.
6️⃣ Serve
Top with green onions & serve over hot rice. 🍚✨
