This August at .breathworks in Squamish, BC, join us for Modules 1 & 2 of the HeartBreath™ Practitioner Training—this 2 of 5 immersive learning journey designed for those ready to guide others through transformational somatic breathwork and heart coherence practices rooted in science, integrity, and deep self-awareness or simply want to learn all about it.

Module 1: The Fundamentals of Body Therapy Breathwork
Gain a strong foundation in trauma-informed somatic breathwork. You’ll learn:

• Nervous system regulation through body-based breath practices
• Circular connected breath techniques that support emotional release
• How to hold safe, inclusive, and non-pathologizing space
• A decolonizing framework that avoids spiritual bypassing and cultural appropriation, centering relational respect

Module 2: Getting to the Heart of the Matter

Explore heart coherence through both science and energetics, including research from the HeartMath™ Institute and other respected sources of heart energetics. In this module:

• Learn how emotions influences health and cognitive function
• Practice techniques to support coherence, resilience, and stress recovery
• Discover heart-led facilitation practices that align with equity, care, and integrity
• Engage in deep self-reflection to support ethical leadership and embodied presence

This training is ideal for heart and wellness practitioners, coaches, educators, facilitators, and helpers who want to integrate evidence-based, embodied, and heart-centered practices into their personal and professional life—without bypassing or borrowing from cultures that are not theirs.

Meet Loretta Cella, founder of the HeartBreath Institute and .breathworks.

With a heart devoted to humanity and a career spanning over 27 years, Loretta has worked globally, supporting diverse communities through profound change and healing. Her extensive background combines Child and Youth Care, a master’s in Leadership, specialized training in anti-oppression, non-violent intervention, addiction recovery housing, HeartMath, and two distinct breathwork modalities. Recently, Loretta took her commitment to personal transformation even deeper with a powerful vision quest on the sacred mountain of Tamoanchan.

Loretta’s dedication to healing and human potential inspired her to create the HeartBreath Training and Certification Program—a truly unique, decolonized, and non-appropriated approach to breathwork. This program, the only one of its kind worldwide, centers on supporting individuals as whole beings, guiding them to thrive amidst life’s challenges and complexities.
