6 things I hope my clients keep in mind between sessions 💛
1️⃣ You don’t need to show up “better” every week — therapy isn’t a performance review.
2️⃣ Small shifts in awareness are still progress, even if there’s no "big breakthrough" yet.
3️⃣ You don’t have to wait until things are falling apart to reach out or check in.
4️⃣ Rest is part of the work. Integration happens when you give yourself space to breathe.
5️⃣ Growth sometimes looks like crying, napping, or binge-watching something comforting.
6️⃣ Healing doesn’t only happen in session — the real work often happens in the quiet moments after you leave.
