Time to GET PLANTING folks!

I planted my varieties of cold-hardy black- coloured beans yesterday: BLACK VALENTINE, BLUE JAY, CANADIAN WONDER, PROVIDER & SPEEDY to do a comparison of performance. ( all green beans
I also planted ROCDOR WAX BEAN ( black seed), which i have never tried before in May, as yellow beans more tender. We will see what happens!

Hi folks, June is almost upon us & time to get gardening & growing your own food! The seedlings are ready to go this week from Emmerdale Eden Farm, and will also be available at Summerside Farmer's Market on Saturday 9am -1 pm.

Big variety of heirloom TOMATOES 🍅 to choose from: CHERRIES, DWARFS, EARLY SLICERS, BEEFSTEAKS, PASTE in a myriad of colours from stripes to red, yellow, orange & purples.

HOT & SWEET PEPPERS 🌶 & EGGPLANTS 🍆 too, as well as lots of varieties of basil.
