Reconciliation begins with learning (and unlearning). Today, we encourage you to read more about indigenous history and listen to the voices of indigenous people. Phyllis Webstad’s books are a meaningful place to begin 🧡📙📖

The cool breeze in the air this week, and the mix of school supplies and Halloween decorations in the stores, are all clear reminders that summer is winding down and the transition back to school is just around the corner! 📚🚌
& like with most transitions, changes and shifts comes mixed emotions. Sadness for summer to end, excitement for a new routine, and anxiety about what the next school year will bring. We hope these tips help your transition back to school go a little lighter and smoother 🩷

🎨CommYOUnity Connections: Confident Creators🎨
Next week, Teresa will be wrapping up our very first Confident Creators Art Therapy Group with a wonderful group of young girls! This 8-week series was all about building confidence, learning from mistakes and exploring perfectionism - all while supporting each other in a safe, and creative space🩷
It’s been a joy for Teresa to witness their growth, and while it’s bittersweet to see this group come to an end, we are excited to be planning the next!
