We almost forgot our 15th Anniversary of opening up on Donald Street!!!! Susanna and Kathryn had been working at other locations and with Active Chiropractic's move to a bigger location we decided to work together. It has been great and we look forward to more years together. Monique joined us in September of 2023 and the team is stronger together. Our receptionist Sherri and has been with us the whole time making sure things run smoothly. Jen joined us part time a number of years ago. Happy Anniversary to us and thanks for trusting us with your health!!!

Just letting everyone know that the clinic is not currently able to treat any WSIB patients. Our schedules are too full to allow for the amount of treatment that WSIB patients require. Sorry if this inconveniences any of our regular clients. This applies to both chiropractic care and massage therapy.

A big warm welcome to the newest member of our team, Monique Cerisano, RMT!!! Having a third RMT should really help with getting treatment when you need it! Monique completed her massage therapy studies in 2000 at Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. Over the years she has taken continuing education courses including several advanced Myofascial release techniques(structural Integration, introductory Craniosacral) She enjoys using a variety of techniques to create treatments that are tailored to each individual. Monique has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions associated with everyday stress, overuse and injury, port-surgical scarring and physical manifestations of pain syndromes. Monique offers massage therapy as preventative care to be added to your sports routine, injury prevention and wellness regime. She is a great fit at the clinic and we all look forward to working with her.

This is a good one!!!

Tight hamstring? Try something new. Take a tennis ball and place it under the hamstring at the sore spot. Sit on it and at the same time bend and straighten your knee. You are essentially flossing the hamstring which should decrease the tightness.

This is it, Massage Therapy Awareness Week!!! I know that you know how important massage is for our health and well being. A minimum of once a month for me. Along with regular chiropractic, exercise and physiotherapy. It takes a team to keep me healthy!! Making it easier to enjoy all life has to offer.

Massage Therapy fees are going up in September. New HST inclusive fees will be:

30 minutes: $70

45 minutes: $90

60 minutes: $105

Good morning! Wanted to tell everyone that Donald and Vickers is now a 4 Way stop. The lights are gone and there are drivers running the new stop. Police are around and ticketing drivers who run the stop sign. So be extra careful around the clinic till people get used to the 4 way stop.

Remember there is 2 hour free parking on Vickers street as well as metered parking closer to the building.
