💕Crush Coffee Co was nominated for the
“New Business Excellence Award” by Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce.💕
This is our FIRST official award nomination.💫 Gah!!
and I couldn’t be more excited and grateful.
I got the news while I was in Guatemala, which seemed perfectly timed.
While there I had my first international coffee business meeting in Spanish with this incredible soul, German (Herman). German and his two sisters are third generation coffee plantation owners.
Their farm was next to the retreat space I was at all week. Of course, I needed to take the women on a tour and meet the owners.
In Guatemala it is not uncommon for women and families to own small coffee farms. There is coffee everywhere!
When German told me that he had two sisters who co-owned the farm with him, I instantly got excited about the possibility of purchasing their coffee. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet them because they weren’t available that day. I hope to one day.
People in Guatemala are passionate about coffee and even more passionate about sharing it with the world. Now to find a way to get it all the way to Crush Coffee Co. from Santiago, Guatemala.
We’ve already decided that it will happen so the rest will unfold as it should.
Thank you, Thunder Bay for your continued love and support of everything Crush Coffee. We truly are a community coffee company and now we get to say we’re a community coffee company in communities all around the world.
Just being nominated is enough. Of course, we hope to see you at the awards in May.
Romy 💕☕️
