Our residents have been busy spreading creativity and cheer this week!

They spent the afternoon making beautiful paper garlands to decorate our home, filling the halls with color, laughter, and handmade charm. 🎨🌼

It’s amazing what a little creativity (and a lot of smiles!) can do to brighten up the whole residence. Thank you to our wonderful residents for making our community feel even more like home. 💕

Several of our residents enjoyed a wonderful evening out attending a beautiful performance by The Woodstock Choralaires at Knox Presbyterian Church in Woodstock.

The Choralaires are celebrating an incredible 60 years of bringing joy, inspiration, and community together through music — and what a privilege it was to share in their milestone performance! 💛✨

Our residents returned with full hearts, humming melodies and reminiscing about a truly special night.

🎄✨ It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at The Tillsonburg Retirement Residence! ✨🎄

The holiday spirit has officially arrived, and our home is starting to shine with festive cheer. Decorations are going up — with a little help from our wonderful residents, of course! Their smiles and creativity make every wreath, ribbon, and ornament even more special. ❤️

One of our newest additions is a beautiful Memory Tree in the dining hall, lovingly decorated in honour of all the residents we have lost this past year. It stands as a gentle reminder of the cherished moments, friendships, and lives that continue to warm our hearts. 🌟💛

We invite everyone to take a moment to pause, reflect, and feel the love woven into each branch.

Life at The Tillsonburg Retirement Residence is full of little surprises — including visits from our beautiful backyard wildlife including curious critters to peaceful birds! Today we had a magical moment — a family of three deer wandered into our backyard!

Residents and staff gathered to watch quietly as the deer explored, bringing a sense of peace and wonder. These moments bring joy, wonder, and plenty of smiles to our community.

It’s amazing to watch nature unfold right outside our windows when you take a moment to look. 💛🌳

🎁 Spreading Joy, One Shoebox at a Time! 🎁

Residents of The Tillsonburg Retirement Residence have been busy lending their hearts and hands to a wonderful cause. Over the past few weeks, they collected and packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a global program of Good Samaritan’s Purse.

These special shoeboxes were dropped off at Tillsonburg Alliance Church, where they will begin their journey to children around the world. Operation Christmas Child is made possible through the dedication of hundreds of thousands of trained volunteers in more than 100 countries, helping deliver these gifts to children who need them most.

We are so proud of our residents for giving their time, energy, and compassion to bring smiles across the globe this Christmas season. ❤️🌎

🎭🎄 What a magical evening! We took some of our residents to Theatre Tillsonburg to see the play “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and the theatre was bursting with laughter, music, and holiday cheer.
Nothing beats sharing festive fun and a few giggles together!
