Join us for a special Pharmacy Cafe event in collaboration with La Roche-Posay!

🗓When: March 4th at 8:30-10:00 am
📍Where: 10 Dean Cafe (~10 min walk from LDFP at 484 Spadina Ave.)

This session will focus on:
- Skin-related side effects associated with cancer treatment
- Strategies to support patients during their oncology care
- Education pathways & job opportunities for pharmacists in the oncology space

If you’re interested in oncology pharmacy and/or dermatologic care, this is a great opportunity to learn and network!

There will be:
- Coffee & pastries,
- A gift card giveaway,
- A La Roche-Posay gift basket giveaway

Hey Pharmacy!

NCODA National is hosting a student educational talk titled Nuclear Pharmacy 101 this Wednesday, January 21st .

Curious about nuclear pharmacy and how it connects to oncology care?
We are joined by nuclear pharmacists (Spencer Smith, Elizabeth Rayes, and Savanna Schultz) who will break down what it takes to become a nuclear pharmacist, share real-world examples of radiopharmaceuticals used in practice, and explain how diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals support oncology care, including the growing field of theranostics.

All attendees will receive 1 UPS point and a chance to win a $10 gift card!

In collaboration with the Canadian Blood Services, NCODA is hosting a stem cell registry drive on Wednesday, January 21 from 10 am - 2 pm in the atrium of PB.

Each year, hundreds of patients in Canada with life-threatening diseases need a stem cell transplant to save their life! Over 80 diseases and disorders can be treated with a stem cell transplant including leukemia, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia. We encourage you to have your cheek swabbed by the Canadian Blood Services to see if you are a potential match for a person in need of a stem cell transplant.

A huge shoutout to Samman for running 22 km for our Movember fitness challenge, and to Danial, Samman, and Christopher for bravely shaving their moustaches for the cause. 👨🏻💪

Together, we’re raising awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health. Thank you all for participating and supporting men’s health together!

Movember raises awareness for men’s health including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.

This year, some of your fellow students have been growing ‘staches for the cause! Come watch them get shaved, add a message to our moustache board, share experiences, and learn about the impact of Movember. 🧡💙
