☀️Vulnerable moment here. I genuinely strived to get to this physique for many years. However, in those same years I doubted myself a lot. I questioned my capabilities all the time. To which I would use that as an excuse to not show up, fall off the plan, eat crappy, to name a few. Though, no matter how many times I fell off, something in me was still fighting for the unknown.
🛑My point is no matter how many times you fall off, that little voice that tells you “Your better then this, shake it off, get up and get at it”. Listen to that over and over and over again. No matter if you have to start from square one or continue where you left off. As long as you keep showing up is how you’re going to prove yourself right. It’s where you will finally see the results.
✅Trust me, anyone that tells you it gets easier as you go is lying. It doesn’t get easier. You don’t just wake up and all of a sudden the gym is your identity and you love being there all the time. I wish! What gets easier is managing your self doubt. Validating your performance alongside critiquing it for the better. Being conscious and confident of what you eat and not self-conscious of how you look and how much.
