Nice to meet you ā Iām Amelia, founder of Good Forme Pilates š¤
Born and raised in Singapore and now calling Toronto home, movement has also been a constant in my life. I spent years dancing and teaching ballet professionally at the highest levels, striving for perfection and learning to make hard things look effortless. One of the biggest things Iām still learning is that I donāt have to have everything figured out, to start even when not really ready, that it is ok to make mistakes and ask for help and most importantly to enjoy the ride instead of chasing perfection.
In 2022, I opened Etobicoke Pilates with just one reformer and a lot of belief. Over time, we kept investing ā in more equipment, in incredible teachers, and in the community that formed around us. two years later, we rebranded to Good Forme Pilates, a name that reflects what matters most to us: helping people move better, feel better, and find lasting change.
Outside the studio, my idea of fun includes long chats with friends that run far too late, the occasional glass of wine, soaking up beach days, travelling, time with my hubby, balanced with intentional living, cooking and morning coffee.āļø Iām grounded yet driven, serious about my work but playful at heart. I find joy in the mix of honesty, generosity, laughter and really good food.
My focus is building Good Forme into more than a studio ā a transformative third space where people feel at home, find community, and create sustainable wellness through mindful movement.
Welcome in. āØ
