My heart goes out for recent awardee and family of Captain Anshuman Singh. It’s so disappointing to see all media publications repeatedly highlighting the bereaved Smriti wife of Martyr Capt. Anshuman Singh as a ' ' instead of using more respectful terms such as 'bereaved' or simply ' .'

Isn’t the term 'widow' repeatedly not only hitting on her identity but also sensationalizes her grief. Are we truly honoring the sacrifice of our brave martyrs, or are we turning their families’ sorrow into mere gossip for TRPs?

She has already lost the flavour of her life, atleast don’t tag her with the ‘whites’ and steal any possible colours..

They are usually trying to primarily prove to themselves than to others, that they are enough and in control; spreading themselves too thin at all facets.

There were about 54 female engineers/scientists who worked directly in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Associate and deputy project directors and project managers of various systems working at different centres.

The recent Chandrayaan 3 mission was led by India's rocket woman, Ritu Karidhal Shrivastava. 🌠🌏

55% women I know are paid lesser for same roles than their male counterparts.

70% women in my society are forced to give up their careers to take care of their kids.

90% women in my experience struggle with a lack of self-worth.

India has witnessed more divorces since the last two decades; a huge percentage of which is accredited to women being self-reliant individuals looking out for themselves owing to their jobs.
So while all these years, a woman is cheering her husband on, the society doesn’t celebrate her fairing well at work front?

What else can one infer from such sudden demonization of an artist who has been adored for her creativity just because BOTH the partners decided to part ways?
