Let’s Talk Self-care 🧘♀️
We have faced significant changes to our lifestyle over the past couple of months and it has been a big adjustment for a lot of people.
The pleasure we had that we didn’t even think as pleasures like getting to see friends, going to school / work, going to the gym, partying once in a while or grabbing drinks and food at restaurants are things we cant even do right now.
On top of that with work / school being all online, forcing us to be staring at a computer much longer than before, the stress we have been putting on our body is a lot more than you realize.
Beginning of this month, my shoulder stiffness because of my deadly long hours of computer work just reached the next level and now I’ve been going to the chiropractor like almost every other day. This made me realize the importance of stretching and moving your body.
So I want to emphasize on the importance of taking care of yourself, especially since our lifestyle has changed drastically and everyone (knowingly or not) have put a lot of stress on yourselves.
Here are some of self-care ideas during COVID19. My favourite is to emerce myself in nature or taking a bath at the end of the day to relax my body and mind. Let me know if you have any favourite self-care routines☺️
* Bath time with your fav scent of candle or aroma oil
*cooking and baking dancing to your fav music♫ get to eat delish warm dishes at the end🍽
* Put on some fancy dress for a photoshoot! Let’s create reasons to dress up and look gorgeous👗
* going on a simple hiker or a walk, breathing fresh air is my secret of self-care when I don’t have time 🌿
