St. Clare Inn, a transitional housing program for homeless women with diagnosed mental health issues. Currently in its 10th year, St.

Inspired by the death of a local homeless woman who struggled with mental health issues, St Clare Inn was started by a group of lay men and women and Franciscan Friars. The Inn opened it doors in 2007 to care and assist for this often overlooked and marginalized group. Our goal is to empower homeless women with mental health issues to achieve a lifetime of independent living, self worth and respect. Clare Inn is now a highly respected program in the City of Toronto among social workers, caseworkers, psychiatrists, doctors and hospital discharge planners.

And just like that, our second annual the Promise event has come and gone… and WOW what a weekend it was! ✨

Dave Trafford and his amazing choir delivered three incredible shows that truly lifted spirits.

With three shows back-to-back, we were blown away to see so many familiar faces return and just as excited to welcome so many new ones. Your presence helped grow our community of supporters for St. Clare Inn, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

🎉 Not only did we reach our $15K fundraising goal… we surpassed it! 🎉

None of this would have been possible without our ongoing supporters who continue to stand by us, encourage us, and believe in our mission. What an incredible way to kick off the holiday season.

And to those who couldn’t attend but still sent donations, well wishes, or cheered us on from afar, we see you, and we appreciate you more than you know.

Now we can all take a little breather… before we gear up for the next event. 😉
