It’s spooky season and what better way to get in the spirit than by having The Vampire Facial🧛

Contrary to what some may think (and Jamie Lee Curtis’ appearance in Halloween above) the amount of blood produced by the treatment is minimal.

The Vampire Facial aka PRP is a popular treatment for those who want to maintain youthful skin appearance or correct signs of aging.

The name stems from the fact that your Doctor will draw your blood and use platelets from the sample to inject back in to the skin.🩸

The skin usually appears red and you may see small droplets of blood during the procedure.

Our epidermis is the most outer layer of skin. It’s the part we see, touch and treat often.

Our dermis, is our true living skin. It is where our blood vessels, collagen and elastin live. It is also the area that is responsible for our skin concerns. Professional treatments are often required to treat this area.

Our hypodermis is the inner most layer and protects the body, stores energy, regulates temperature, etc. 🌡
