Cravings don’t control your day!!!

Your clothes fit more comfortably, you are not feeling, inflamed all the time you wake up with less puffiness and pretty much your body is saying thank you!🙏

👠Some women get overwhelmed about the amount of protein they need to consume daily and I tell them:
“the best way to start is to know what type of proteins are the best based on their lifestyle, exercise routine of the lack of and metabolic goals”
From there, we start introducing amounts that are manageable and also filling so there is not a glucose rollercoaster 🎢 during the day

Proteins are important not only for fat loss but also for mental health and detoxification. However, we must mixed proteins with vegetables 🥗 and fats to have a balanced nutrition ❤️

Myths and misinformation you want to check before jumping on another “diet”

🎈Carbs are the enemy
Truth: the right carbs and the right portions will give you the energy and fuel to run your body and metabolism efficiently

🎈All calories are created equal
Truth: 200 calories from over processed junk food vs 200 calories from whole foods will impact your body in a very different way

🎈Weight loss is only about eating less and moving more
Truth: hormones, blood sugar, emotional wellness and personalized nutrition play a BIG role in sustainable weight management and cellular health

The key to sustainable success is a plan based on your unique body and not an outdated information ℹ️

Lifting weights 🏋️ as you age is super important for better movement, managing blood sugar, bone health, weight maintenance, etc…but if you are in pain (no muscle pain) the other kind and your back hurts and you can barely move, probably it was too much weight for where physically are at the moment.

I see clients coming to me with low back pain, neck tightness, and shoulder impingement after doing very heavy sessions with weights, and that is not what we want, that is not useful and it will limit our mobility.
Yes, you can get better and increase the load but do it with proper form, don’t rush it and listen to your body first and not what everyone else is doing 👍
