OPA’s Naloxone Patient Brochure has been updated and is now available for download to support patient education and outreach. Pharmacy professionals are also encouraged to visit OPA’s naloxone webpage for additional resources, including the latest Executive Officer Notice and Questions and Answers documents on the Ontario Naloxone Program for Pharmacies, the approved naloxone kit supplies list, and the mandatory naloxone instructional insert. Additional practice supports are also available, such as clinical tools to support naloxone conversations, pharmacy marketing materials, and education and training resources related to addictions and opioid agonist therapy:
