Do you need a moisturizer in the summer? 🤔 The answer is probably.

Excessive summer heat and UV rays can dehydrate your skin so it’s important to keep it moisturized during the summer. If your skin becomes oily, it may be a sign that your skin is dehydrated. Your body will step up the production of sebum (oil) to protect itself from drying out.

Air conditioning can also dry out your skin as it dehumidifies the air. 🥶

Swimming in chlorinated pools can strip the skin of natural oils. 🏊‍♀️

The answer? You may want to try switching to an oil free moisturizer in the summer with more of a gel like consistency that feels light on the skin.
