Greg N. Leslie started Educare Selfcare Studio after spending 20 years practising in the social services field serving at-risk youths and their families.
As a Registered Social Worker and Certified Personal Trainer, Greg is no stranger to the impact of stress and poor self-care habits can have on young people and their families, employees, and individuals, including himself.
After experiencing burnout and spending time recovering and healing Greg’s life changed when he read, “Who Cares for Us: Opening Paths into a Critical, Collective Notion of Self-care” by Norma Jean Profitt and Bonnie Ware’s “The Top Five Regrets of the Dying: A life Transformed by the Dearly Departed”.
He embraced the idea that self-care enhances the process of healing and regeneration, which helps you limit the stresses and strains by encouraging you to engage in enjoyable activities and hobbies. He also connected deeply with Bonnie Ware’s message of hope, motivation and inspiration.
Armed with this new focus, Greg not only launched Educare Selfcare Studio, he also ramped up his personal fitness and became a Certified Personal Trainer.
With Educare Selfcare Studio, Greg is able to continue the work he loves while spreading the practice of self-care to as many people as he can, educating and inspiring individuals to live their healthiest, happiest and best lives!
Greg loves what he does and brings that passion and dedication to the work he does with his clients. He truly beleives that working with people and their families, individuals and businesses, looking to create healthier lifestyles and overall improved fitness and wellness is what he was called to do.
Educare Selfcare Studio is a private practice providing self-care centred counselling services, self-care workshops and personal training to help people live happier and healthier lives.
