💚 We made a tiny change in our apothecary… and it just saved us HOURS. 🌿

If you’ve ever ordered from Jane & Thunder Apothecary, you might not realize something…

Our formulas are prepared in small batches right in our apothecary. That means we focus on fresh ingredients, careful preparation, and quality over mass production.

But here’s the funny part.

For the longest time we’ve been using clear capsules.

Which sounds great… until you’re trying to see them during the capsulation process and they basically disappear on the tray like tiny ghosts. 👻

So after a lot of trial and error, we finally made a switch.

it’s a GREAT question.

But it comes from thinking about herbs like they’re pharmaceuticals.

They’re not even close.

Pharmaceutical drugs are single isolated chemicals. If you take activated charcoal with them, it can bind the drug and neutralize it. That’s why hospitals use charcoal in overdoses.

But whole herbs are incredibly complex.

Herbs like wormwood, clove, garlic, and thyme contain hundreds of active plant compounds that begin interacting with parasites, candida, and harmful microbes in the gut almost immediately.

The charcoal in a formula like Parapurge isn’t there to stop the herbs.

It’s there to clean up the mess.
