|INSPIRED| A week later, the RWC team is still buzzing after attending the 10th annual event held at the amazing ! This year’s theme was centred around and we left this incredible event feeling inspired to:

💡Be more mindful of our inherent and unintentional prejudices.

💡Embrace the vulnerability of change and distributing control amongst team members to engage and empower.

💡Help remove stigma around addiction and mental illness with love and compassion.

💡Look forward to aging because as studies show, our happiness curve rises as we get older!

💡Look within ourselves when determining our own definition of success. To put in the hard work of personal evaluation without judgement while letting go of who we think we should be so that we can be open to who we can be.

💡Acknowledge the healing power of meditation within oneself and communities at large.

💡Question and consider alternatives to the status quo.

💡Remember the importance of giving back to our communities by supporting programs that provide equal opportunities to education and feed children’s curiosities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM).

💡Understand that we each create a model in our minds of our environment and that every person’s model differs. It’s important to remember this in helping us understand each other and to be comfortable admitting when we are wrong.
