Are you a medical or dental student, or healthcare professional living in the US, and interested in a medical expedition in the Himalayas of North India?
We have a new medical/dental trekking expedition scheduled for August 1st to August 27th, 2019!
This medical-dental trek will travel through the remote Trans-Himalayan villages of Zanskar (Ladakh).
Join this challenging, 4-week medical / dental trekking expedition through several Tibetan settlements located in a remote, high-altitude region of the Trans Himalayas in North India.
All clinic and camp sites are located between 12,000 ft to 13,500 ft. The trek involves 2 pass crossings of 18,200 and 16,900 feet.
Approximately 600 to 800 patients are expected to attend our clinics. Participation is open to healthcare professionals, non-medical volunteers and students interested in high altitude medicine and Himalayan culture.
