Sinners, Ryan Coogler's Southern gothic horror film, uses vampires to explore Black history, culture, freedom, and the struggle against systemic oppression, contrasting the choice to evolve with cultural tradition versus the eternal damnation of stagnation, all set in 1932 Mississippi around a juke joint where music summons spirits, blurring genres from period drama to supernatural horror.

The trip started with seeing the world famous clock in Amsterdam.

The "Man in the Clock" in Amsterdam refers to the captivating Schiphol Clock, an art installation by Dutch designer Maarten Baas at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Lounge 2) that features a man seemingly painting the clock hands in real-time, but is actually a 12-hour looping video of an actor (Tiago Sá da Costa). Part of Baas's "Real Time" series, it uses video trickery to create a fascinating, human-centric illusion of time passing, making travelers wonder if someone is truly inside, painting and erasing hands every minute.
