It’s hard to explain the beauty when a kid feels something so deeply that it seems to be an innate quality or desire. Not taught. Not observed. Not learned.
G showed early on a love for Flamenco…so we rolled with it. Sure we play the music in the house, but it’s hard to observe and be immersed in that culture while living in Canada.

It started with a fan.
Then his first pair of flamenco boots.
Castanets. Canes and capes.
We found a local studio to fill that void, and a year later, Wednesday nights at the studio have become his highlight of the week.

I can’t wait to see him continue ❤️

Yes, hormonal changes in aging bodies make things more challenging. Yes, injuries are not easy to deal with, but neither are excuses to give up! Having the right support and proper plan WILL help you succeed! Take it away Mrs.Jones! So proud!

“Between perimenopause doing its unpredictable thing and ongoing knee and hip issues, I felt frustrated in my own body. Energy was inconsistent. Strength felt different. Recovery was slower. Honestly, it was discouraging. For the first time in a long time, I didn’t quite recognize how I felt physically.
Committing to this program and to myself changed that.
This wasn’t about pushing harder or chasing unrealistic goals. It was about understanding what my body needed in this season of life. With Rita’s guidance, I learned how to work with my body instead of fighting against it. The workouts were smart, supportive, and adaptable to my knee and hip limitations, which made all the difference.

For the first time in many, many years, I actually feel physically better while navigating perimenopause not worse. Stronger. More stable. More confident in how I move. And that’s something I didn’t think was possible a few months ago.

I’m incredibly grateful I chose to put myself first and figure it out with Rita’s help. I wasn’t born with a barbell in my hands...I am actually one of the LEAST athletic people you will ever meet.
I look ridiculous running...
I’ve had to work years (a decade) on my form ..and I’m still working on it.
I still struggle with push ups and pull ups.
My family instilled culture, food, tradition, values into me...never physical activity or any sport.
But after having Ariana, I looked into the crystal ball and saw my future without health/fitness.
It scared me.
I saw my typical pattern of armouring myself with humor and overalls slowly get worse and worse.
I was fearful for the example I would set for my daughter.
I craved change. I didn’t want to struggle my entire life as I witnessed from my surroundings.

I picked up a weight. It was awkward.
I put down the junk food . It was a challenge.
I showed up daily for my workouts. Even when I was sore, lazy and not in the mood.
I corked the daily wine bottle and enjoyed the weekend glass that much more.
I changed my future.
I re-wrote the blueprint.
I didn’t settle.
I showed up for ME... not for anyone else.
Thank you 27 year old Rita.
You showed courage and strength and because of you, 46 year old me can now reap the rewards that will continue to give and give💪❤️
I know it’s not easy to start. I know it can be intimidating. I know overwhelm. I know first hand not getting instant results. I know sacrificing time with your family. I know “mom-guilt. I know...I know...I know.
But I promise you, showing up for your physical body daily, and treating your body with the respect it deserves outweighs all of the above .
I’m listening. I’m here.

🌟 Client Spotlight 🌟

“J” came to me just before the start of the holiday season and although she was working out 6 days per week and eating “healthy”, she wasn’t feeling like her efforts matched her physical body. She was also overtired and at a loss of what to do next.

I increased her food, decreased cardio and we focussed on rest days, heavier lifting and increased protein. She also enjoyed weekends away, free meals, weddings, birthdays and drinks! I prescribe the way I live and am not about extreme measures.
It’s not about the 7 pounds she lost, but rather the body composition changes and now having the knowledge to continue on her journey.
I am so proud of J!!!!
