Conny from Afya HortTherapy presented on spices, especially those used in wintertime, and their history. She guided us through a mulling spice recipe as we simmered some mulled apple cider on the side to sample at the end of the presentation!

Today, we honor and remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve for our freedom.

To begin the week, our very own chorus club performed songs dedicated to honoring our fallen soldiers.

As we observed this day we had a reading of In Flanders Fields and a personalized speech, then a presentation lead by MWO Robyn Weedmark about Canadian military members who distinguished themselves in WWI, WW2 and Afghanistan. We completed our day with creating poppies and Remembrance Day Collages.
