It's always been about growth.

Matter of fact, it's a true sign of maturity to be able to change your mind about something when presented with new information. Staying stuck in the same mindset, the same patterns, the same habits is why you feel out of sorts.

The new and better version of you is trying to break out of the shell you've encased it in. It's uncomfortable.. growth always is. But you're meant for so much more than the life you've limited yourself to.

Honoured to have the pleasure of being involved with the Black Wellness Experience! Find 808 Co here offering wellness in the form of crystal healing, aromatherapy and intuitive practices ✨

Today, off the heels of Black Mental Health Week, the Black Wellness Experience will be held at UTSC. This event, in collaboration with Hart House, is a UTSC-led initiative that provides an immersive, vibrant atmosphere where community wellness takes center stage. Moving from self-care to community care, where wellness is our collective responsibility, the event centers Black wellness and features activations, vendor booths, resources, complimentary self-care services (e.g., barbershop and massage therapy), music, and food.

Rest: In this space, guests will be invited to relax, reflect, and restore in a spa-like space

Play: In this space, guests will have the opportunity to engage in fun and competitive sports-like activities

Connect: To promote community connection and holistic wellness, there will be many engaging activities, services, community organizations, UTSC and community resources, and local wellness-centered vendors

Eat: This space features delicious finger foods for all attendees and participants to enjoy

We are still in the shedding phase of the Year of the Snake and honestly? This might be the hardest part. You've grown so much and the skin has become right but also ... It's what you're used to so it can be hard to let it go.

It's a real Queen's Birthday! 👑

Today we get to celebrate more than just another year of life, we get to celebrate the gift that is you and all the light, healing, and guidance you bring into the world every single day.

For those who may not know, my Mom Allison is the heart, the spirit, and the guiding force behind 808 Co.’s healing work. She is a certified Reiki Practitioner, Energy Healer, Spiritual Counselor, and Tarot/Oracle Card Reader through Mediumship.

With nearly 30 years on her spiritual journey, she’s seen detours, learned lessons, grown in clarity and compassion, and all of that has shaped the healer she is today.

Allison works with Spirit and her natural intuitive gifts — her Clairs (clairvoyance, clair-audience, clair-sentience, clair-cognizance, clairgustance, etc.) plus channeling — to offer readings and spiritual guidance using Tarot, Oracle cards, and Crystals.

Her healing energy flows through everything she does, it’s not just in the sessions; it’s in all 808 Co. products. Reiki isn’t just something she practices, it’s woven into the fabric of her work.
