Robert Uhls I played baseball growing up and have often found myself in a gym or athletic atmosphere.

That being said, I know how intimidating it can be walking into a gym for the first time. My goal is to help people reach their fitness goals no matter their current fitness level and help them feel comfortable while doing it. This career has been exhilarating and I try to transfer that energy to the people that come to me for help.

Just did a quick little upper body workout before a consultation.

Your work outs don't have to be 1-2 hours long. They can be 20 minutes. They should be specific, personalized, and targeted toward you goal.

Your should try and do something every day.

Have fun with it and stay on track!

For some people, calorie counting is super effective. In my experience though, that is not the case for most. Entering your foods into an app can be tedious and time-consuming, especially if the food you just ate isn't in your app.

My approach is the teach my clients about portion control. Based on their body type, age, height, and weight we can get a ballpark idea of the number of portions they need of each macronutrient.

This is a much more effective approach for someone trying to improve their nutrition habits.

It's simple and easy - which is a must when it comes to behavior change.
